Vertical Expandable Prosthetic Titanium Rib.

The VEPTR and VEPTR II devices are designed to mechanically stabilize and distract the thorax to correct three-dimensional thoracic deformities. These systems are intended to improve respiration and lung growth in pediatric patients with thoracic insufficiency syndrome (TIS).​​​​​​​​
