USS II Ilio-Sacral is a polyaxial, modular and versatile pelvic fixation system which is indicated for severe spinal deformities. It is specifically designed for cases where a stabilization that extends to the pelvis is required. Any rod-system can be used to instrument the spine down to S1. Using the connectors, the screws in the ilium or S2 are connected to the rod. While the iliac connectors can be combinded with any Ø 6 mm or Ø 5 mm rod, the S2 connectors are to be used with Ø 6 mm rods only.

Indications

Fixation of long rod constructs in the ilium and in S2:

• S1 Fixation combined with the iliac fixation: severe scoliosis (e.g. neuromuscular)
• S1 Fixation combined with S2 fixation: degenerative diseases (e.g. spondylolisthesis)
