Even the best implants and instruments are of little benefit if they are not handled correctly. Synthes is committed to increasing residents’ knowledge of and experience with Synthes products as well as with fracture management in general.

The Synthes Resident Program provides structured education by combining workshops*, which allow participants to practice techniques using Synthes instruments and implants outside the OR, with the enhanced speed and accessibility of online learning modules.

The online learning modules cover topics such as preoperative planning, surgical approach videos, simulated surgical techniques, podcast analysis on groundbreaking articles as well as videos of top surgeons performing surgery. Additional resources include access to Primal Pictures award winning 3D anatomy program, Know Your Options and links to further resources.
