Our Russian subsidiary was founded in 1992. Since then we have established friendly relations with the majority of Russian clinics in all regions, and today about 400 institutions use original Synthes instruments and implants on a regular basis.
We offer a wide range of implants and instruments for the operative treatment of fractures. But hardware is only one part of internal fixation technology, the rest is constituted by the knowledge and skills of surgeons. Our company is therefore actively involved in the systematic education process and support of surgeons during their whole professional life. Support granted to our customers also includes technical service, loan instrument service, diversified stock and flawless logistics.
Our organization is proud of the collaboration with the AO ASIF Foundation, as this partnership determines the company’s leading position on the market worldwide. A unique symbiosis of AO ASIF scientists with Synthes employees guarantees a top level of development and highest standards of product quality, which provide maximum convenience of handling for the surgeons and minimize surgical risks.
Synthes Russia also distributes endoprostheses for joints replacement manufactured by Mathys Ltd Bettlach (Switzerland) on the territory of the Russian Federation. Mathys is one of the leading developers and manufacturers of implants and instruments for joints replacement.
At present Synthes Russia has more than 20 regional dealer companies which distribute Synthes products, provide loan instrument service and are responsible for determining the needs of surgeons for education.
