RapidSorb Resorbable Fixation System implants are made of a resorbable polymer poly (L-lactide-co-glycolide). The implants are available as plates, foils, meshes, screws and tacks. They resorb approximately within 1 year by hydrolysis and are metabolized by the body. All the implants are provided sterile.
