PreOPlan is an innovative electronic planning tool with 3D implant templates. Based on a user-friendly concept, PreOPlan supports the surgeon in fracture reduction procedures as well as in the selection and positioning of Synthes trauma implants in an intuitive and fast way.
Easy and intuitive Planning: concentrate in the clinical case and not in the use of the software. The User is guided through a well defined and simple planning workflow:
- import patient X-ray (PACS, CD, USB, etc) and patient data
- reduce fracture on screen
- select and position needed implants
- create planning report
In each planning step, PreOPlan displays only relevant features. Hence, tedious search for needed function is avoided.
Fast planning: Reduce not only the operation duration through an optimal planning but also the planning duration itself. In contrast to other solutions, PreOPlan reduces time-consuming implant searches: selecting an anatomical region within PreOPlan activates a set of relevant implants. Fine-tuning details like length, angle or diameter of the implant is made on screen, directly on the implant. After the selection of a plate or nail, PreOPlan supplies the corresponding screws, blades, caps, etc.
Visualized planning: Use realistic 3D templates to set implant dimensions and simulate implant bending. Using photorealistic implant templates, PreOPlan enhances the graphic planning result. PreOPlan’s 3D technology also supports bending features in an easy and intuitive way.
How to order PreOPlan
PreOPlan is currently available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in English or German and can be ordered online in three different versions.
Professional version. Use PreOPlan for your daily preoperative planning. As a medical product with a permanent license, the professional version contains all planning functionalities and features that are needed for a fast and intuitive planning. In addition, a license guarantees periodical Synthes product templates and software updates as well as a web and email support portal provided by Siemens.
Trial version. Get to know PreOPlan during 90 days. Analogous to the professional version, the trial version is a medical product. During 90 days, the user gets the opportunity to plan own cases and make himself familiar with the advantages of PreOPlan.
Training version. Use PreOPlan for instruction or demonstration. Equipped with a pre-defined set of digital x-rays, the non-medical training version can be used for an unlimited period of time.
