The Synthes Maxillary Distractor is a modular distraction system that can be customized to meet the anatomical needs of any patient, based on preoperative treatment planning. Distraction of the maxilla is accomplished bilaterally using a right and left assembly.

–	Four distractor lengths allow 10, 15, 20 or 25 mm advancements
–	Three anterior footplate heights for both right and left configurations
–	Three posterior footplate heights with two offsets to accommodate pediatric and adult populations
–	Distractors may be attached to either the maxilla or a dental splint
