The LCP Medial Distal Tibia Plates are specifically designed for the distal tibia and minimize primary and secondary loss of reduction. The plate with tab provides stable support for the medial malleolus. The plate without tab has a complex plate shape with a very thin profile. The two plates give surgeons the possibility to choose the optimal implant for the current case.
Key Features & Benefits
| – | Minimal contouring required due to the anatomically shaped plates. |
| – | Thin profile avoids damage to the surrounding soft tissues. |
| – | Tapered tip and smooth plate design enable less invasive insertion. |
| – | The distal locking screws diverge across subchondral bone and allow for a good fixation also in osteoporotic bone. |
| – | The plate without tab can be placed very close to the joint surface. |
Indications
Plate with tab:
- Extra- and partially intra-articular fractures of the distal tibia
- Fractures of the distal tibia with involvement of the medial malleolus
Plate without tab:
