Synthes Ltd, previously known as Stratec Medical Ltd, has been based in Welwyn Garden City since 1975. We employ around 100 people in technical sales, marketing and customer support roles, working with hospitals and clinics throughout the U.K. In Ireland, our partner Fannin Healthcare represents us.

Just as high quality implants and instruments are only one part of the care our customers provide to patients, our product portfolio is only one part of the overall service and support Synthes offers. We continually monitor our performance to ensure an excellent delivery service. Similarly we carefully train our staff to ensure that customers will find us a competent partner to whom they can turn for technical support and system training.

We have a large stock of loan equipment that can be used if customers wish to evaluate new systems or just need them occasionally. Our Service Centre offers a fast repair and upgrade service for customers' own equipment when needed.
