The best implants and instruments are of little benefit if they are not handled correctly. Synthes is committed to increasing residents’ knowledge of, and experience with, Synthes products and general fracture management through an innovative, interactive education program.

Synthes Geriatric Fracture Program

Caring for today’s elderly fragility fracture patient requires a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach. Our program includes tools to guide a hospital in developing a Geriatric Fracture Center (project plans, sample protocols, care plans and geriatric fracture database).

Advanced Surgical Approaches

The Synthes Advanced Surgical Approach program is designed for the practicing orthopaedic surgeon.

The increased demand for specialist training prompted Synthes to establish, in collaboration with the EANS, a spine fellowship program. During a two-month fellowship, surgeons are acquainted with different aspects and techniques of spinal surgery and evolving technologies.
